The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine, have released the name of their new baby through Kensington Palace, reports BBC News.
Kate Middleton gave birth to their second child on Saturday (May 2). The media, the fans, and pretty much the world have been wondering what the little girl would be named and now we know: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
When BBC’s royal correspondent Peter Hunt asked how the couple chose the name, a Kensington official replied, saying, “We’ll let the names speak for themselves.”
The couple’s first child, son Prince George, was born on July 22, 2013.
