Why hello, Sir. We’re always happy to see new news about Sir Ian McKellen, particularly when it pertains to his forthcoming role as the sly sleuth Sherlock Holmes.

We’ve already had a first look at two teaser trailers for Mr. Holmes, which stars McKellen as the semi-retired detective winding down to enjoy his later years until a cold case reopens. While still sharp, Mr. Holmes isn’t as spry as he once was, and he finds himself relying on the aid of his housekeeper’s (Laura Linney) 10-year-old son (Milo Parker).

Even so, Holmes has still got it, as seen in the below trailer:

Mr. Holmes hits U.S. theaters on July 17, 2015.

On a scale of 1-10 how much are you looking forward to Mr. Holmes?
