Hats off to Metro for spotting these clips. This is Emilia Clarke, Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, in (what IMDB claims is) her very first TV role.

The show is the BBC medical drama Doctors, and she’s playing a forthright young lady called Saskia, who is in the middle of a row with her dad, who is a little too controlling, and poorly:

Here’s her father’s doctor explaining the situation:

And then, oddly, coming in for a coffee:

But Saskia softens in the end, and eventually she and her dad reach a truce:

And then she moves to Westeros. A place beyond even the services of caffiene-starved doctors.
