Lake Bell (How to Make It in America) embraces her inner Bridget Jones, talking to the camera in the Man Up trailer. “Hi, I’m Nancy,” she says. “This year you’re going to put yourself out there. Take chances. Be more deviant. Engage with … life.”

Bell plays an English woman in her 30s who is mistaken by Simon Pegg as his blind date. When he finds her at Waterloo Station, they are both holding the same book Six Billion People and You: A Guide to Meeting Your Mate in the Modern World, which was part of the meet up plan, hence the confusion.

Sure, Nancy could’ve corrected him, but who wouldn’t want to go on a date with the charming Simon Pegg?

And the deviant life she craves ensues, as seen in the below trailer:

Man Up is directed by The Inbetweeners Movie‘s Ben Palmer.

A U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
