Melissa McCarthy seems to have found a reliable recipe for action comedy, and is sticking to it, taking on steadfast roles as seen in Identity Thief, The Heat, and Tammy. Her latest go at the amped up genre is getting a British upgrade with Miranda Hart, Jason Statham, and Jude Law joining her in Spy.

McCarthy plays a CIA analyst who is bored holding down a desk. Hart makes her Hollywood debut playing McCarthy’s supportive best friend. The Agency needs someone to go undercover who will go unnoticed, and rather than choosing between experienced agents played by Statham, and Law, they go with more of the “lunch lady” type.
