Call the Midwife makes its return in March 2015. (BBC1)

We can breathe a little easier now that Downton Abbey is back on PBS, but there’s still some time before Call the Midwife’s season four premiere on Sunday, March 29. While we wait: BBC One has an advance look.

With Jenny Lee’s (Jessica Raine) departure, Nonnatus House is in need of more hands. Fresh Meat’s Charlotte Ritchie and Lark Rise to Candleford’s Linda Bassett are up for the job, portraying Nurses Barbara Gilbert and Phyllis Crane. Downton Abbey’s Cara Theobold (Ivy Stuart) makes a guest appearance as a mum-to-be, who finds out her husband is having a fling.

Here’s a look at the series four trailer:

Of course, we look forward to seeing familiar faces like Jenny Agutter (Sister Julienne), Miranda Hart (Chummy), Helen George (Trixie), Ben Caplan (PC Peter Noakes), Laura Main (Shelagh Turner), Emerald Fennell (Patsy Mount), Judy Parfitt (Sister Monica Joan) and Stephen McGann (Dr. Turner).

Are you looking forward to the season premiere?
