Is it too early to start queuing up? BBC Worldwide has confirmed a studio theme park development agreement with the London Paramount Entertainment Resort, reports BBC News.

The agreement is the first step toward a formal partnership, with hopes of opening a BBC-themed amusement park in Kent, England, in 2020. Kent is about an hour’s drive from London.

Paramount London has released a statement, saying, “The partnership agreement would mean that some of the best loved and celebrated programs and characters to appear on British TV and radio in recent decades could be brought to life at a new world-class entertainment destination.” Paramount Pictures’ involvement allows access to over 3,000 films, including iconic movies such as Mission: Impossible, Star Trek, The Godfather and The Italian Job.

The BBC and Paramount are still in talks about which programs would be part of the theme park, which has a budget of £2 billion ($3.14 billion), and is set to include rides and attractions; the largest indoor water park in Europe; a 2,000-seat theater with regular West End quality shows; indoor event space to host conference, musical and sporting events; and a range of hotels with a combined total of 5,000 on-site bedrooms.
