WATCH: ‘Doctor Who’ Crew Meets Fans at NYC Screening Event

It wasn’t a TARDIS, but it was pretty cool: new Doctor Peter Capaldi, companion Jenna Coleman, and lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat emerged from a vintage New York taxi to greet fans at the Big Apple’s Ziegfeld Theater, site of last night’s (August 14) U.S. premiere screening of Doctor Who‘s eighth season premiere. Anglophenia and Talking Movies host Tom Brook chatted with the fans, many of whom camped out more than 10 hours on line for the event, and talked with Moffat and the stars about the upcoming season, which begins on BBC AMERICA Saturday, August 23 at 8/7c.
