Look. It’s all a bit much to take in right now, but basically this has just happened on the @BBCOne Twitter feed.

So, Martin Freeman was right. There will be a Sherlock special, with Andrew Scott’s Moriarty making a return, presumably for Christmas 2015—but possibly not, who can say?—and then a new series to follow afterwards.

The game is o…oh, they said that.
