Mark Gatiss, as we have noted previously, is a man who enjoys a cameo appearance or two. And as he has the capacity to make the blood run cold with a sentence, he’s a perfect fit with the doom-laded world of Game of Thrones.

Here’s a trailer for Episode Six of Season Four (not to be watched if you’re not ready for it), in which Mark plays Tycho Nestoris, who has come from the Iron Bank of Bravos to discuss money with Stannis Baratheon.

“You feel your blood gives you a claim on our gold?” he asks, to which Stannis replies, “More than any man living.”

Which, given that this is the kill-happy Game of Thrones, is not saying a lot.
