Last September we brought you the first trailer for The Double, the second feature film to be directed by The IT Crowd’s Richard Ayoade, starring Jesse Eisenberg from The Social Network.
Now, a longer, creepier trailer has been released, in which the full unpleasantness of Jesse’s doppelganger, who is working to unpick his ordered existence, is set against an unpleasant fairy story involving a snake:
The Double, based on a novella by Fyodor Dostoevsky, has a U.S. release date of May 9, and also stars Mia Wasikowska, Wallace Shawn, Noah Taylor and James Fox.
