Charles visit to Bedfordshire. Sheila Smith from the Mothers Union, at St PaulÕs Church in Bedford, makes some final adjustments to Christmas trees ahead of the opening of the Christmas tree festival. The charity event is in its 12th year and is made up of 60 Nordman spruce Christmas trees with up to 4000 fairy lights in total. The festival opens tomorrow (Wednesday 4th December) and runs through until (Saturday 6th December). The Prince of Wales visited earlier today to have a look at the trees on display. This year's animated windows are inspired by the key elements of classic fairy tales, all displayed in 3D to bring each window's narration to life. The Fairy Tale Forest window scheme begins with the Sugar Plum Fairy who is surrounded by books and appears to be reading the various tales of the forest.
