He is one of the most in-demand actors around and now Simon Pegg has spoken to Anglophenia about several of his upcoming film projects.

The list involves several franchises including Mission: Impossible 5, which he says will probably shoot next year in the U.K. The film is due to be released in the U.S. on December 25, 2015.

Pegg also discussed recent rumors that Attack The Block director (and Adam and Joe show creator) Joe Cornish would take over from JJ Abrams and direct Star Trek 3.

Abrams is of course taking over the reins of Star Wars: Episode VII. Asked if he fancied being part of Abrams’ cast, he told Al Moloney that he now considers himself a “Star Trek” man and couldn’t imagine appearing in the new series of films.
