Royal Roundup: Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Visit Kent
During a recent visit to Kent with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, a mother and daughter gave Prince Charles the gift of a Whitstable Oyster Festival t-shirt for his newborn grandson, Prince George, reports BBC. According to Shona Corcoran, the mother who presented the gift, the Prince mentioned that the t-shirt was “fantastic.” Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall spoke with fishermen during their visit, and the Prince even sampled some local oysters, which the east Kent town of Whitstable is famous for.
