English actress Felicity Jones has been tight lipped, for the most part, about her upcoming character in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 … well, until now.
Jones claims she’s been “sworn to secrecy” but has been dropping hints like her character is “on the bad side,” without actually revealing the name.
The Doctor Who alum (Robina Redmond, “The Unicorn and the Wasp”) had a pow-wow with View London and chatted about a couple of projects including Spidey. She sort of let the cat out of the bag, hint-hint, on her upcoming role (spoiler alert), saying, “It’s all quite shrouded in secrecy, but I’m the Goblin’s girlfriend, I’m in a relationship with him, and his accomplice. I’m on the dark side.”
It’s not 100 percent sure but some are speculating that she’ll be playing Felicia Hardy whose alter ego is Black Cat.
Here’s what else Jones had to say on the upcoming installment: “Spider-Man is completely different from anything I’ve experienced before, and a real departure from what I’ve done before, which I’ve really enjoyed doing; something on a completely different scale, and with it being a cartoon, it was really good fun actually. It was really fascinating to see how a film is made in that way, which is so foreign to what I’ve done before.”
