Let’s be honest, apart from not really needing any excuse to put up any picture of Benedict Cumberbatch doing anything ever, this is a shameless raid on the Twitter feed of Mark Gatiss in order to glean any tiny crumbs of excitement about the next series of Sherlock, because the wait is actually, physically, painfully and entirely non-metaphorically killing us.

What? I’m not even exaggerating.

And yes, we’re all fully aware this is unsatisfactory compared to a proper announcement, or a show to watch, or a kiss on the hand from Mr Cumberbatch himself, but then, what isn’t?

Oh wait, how
