Henry Cavill (The Tudors) stars in the retelling of DC Comics’ Superman in the Man of Steel (June 14). There’s already been two trailers released and just today there’s a new TV spot. Henry Cavill (The Tudors) narrates the clip saying, “My father believed, if the world really knew who I was, they would reject me. That the world wasn’t ready. What do you think?”

Cavill leads a cast that includes Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, and Russell Crowe with Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) signed on as producer.
Director Zack Snyder told EW.com about first seeing Cavill at his audition donning the Superman suit saying, ““He walked out, and no one laughed … other actors put that suit on, and it’s a joke, even if they’re great actors. Henry put it on, and he exuded this kind of crazy-calm confidence that just made me go ‘Wow. Okay. This was Superman.’”
