Skins character: Anwar, a horndog who struggles with his Muslim faith.
Seasons: 1-2
Since then: He was the lead in the Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire, playing a Mumbai teen who grew up in the slums of India finds himself as a contestant of the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He returned to India for the hit ensemble comedy The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Now: He’s on HBO’s Aaron Sorkin drama The Newsroom, in which his character is a blogger on the fictional News Night team.
Next: His main gig is filming the next season of The Newsroom … not a bad “9-to-5″ job!
Plans: He may plan on getting some driving lessons based on his interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Then: Anwar’s sexcapades on Skins are interrupted by a Hoover.

Now: His Newsroom character Neal becomes so enraged he punches a computer monitor breaking a couple of digits (fingers that is).
