Whovians Did It: ‘Doctor Who’ Lands TV Guide Magazine’s Fan Favorites Cover!

Congratulations, Whovians: you’ve made history. Your votes have landed Doctor Who on the cover of TV Guide for the very first time, as the nearly 50-year-old series has won the magazine’s annual Fan Favorites competition. (The show defeated some big names, including The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, and Pretty Little Liars.) And we can reveal that cover now, which features the Doctor (Matt Smith) in his dapper, bow-tied splendor. (Be on the lookout for the issue on newsstands later this week.)

Christmas has certainly come early. (Well, we wish it would come early: we really want to see this year’s Christmas special “The Snowmen,” which airs on BBC America December 25.)

All right, folks – pat yourselves on the back for a job well-done below!
