We’ve seen Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen as their Les Misérables characters in a new poster, but now see them in action in the first official international trailer for Tom Hooper‘s new adaptation of the popular musical, set for U.S. release on Christmas Day. The earlier teaser was set to Anne Hathaway‘s emotive version of “I Dreamed a Dream,” but this new clip features more of the high-profile cast, including Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman, belting it out. MVP could go to British Tony winner (and friend of Doctor Who‘s Matt Smith) Eddie Redmayne, who demonstrates some nice vocal chops in a brief bit from his “One Day More” duet with Amanda Seyfried.
