PHOTOS: Charlie Chaplin Family — Oona Chaplin Returns to ‘The Hour’
Sir Charlie Chaplin’s granddaughter Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones) is set to return in Season Two of The Hour as Marnie Madden, Hector Madden’s (Dominic West) wife, premiering on BBC America on Wednesday, November 28 at 9pm ET/PT.
Chaplin was married three times before meeting and falling in love with Oona’s grandmother, Oona O’Neil, whom he was married to up until his death in 1975 on Christmas day. It was a long and lasting marriage resulting in eight children.
Chaplin’s film legacy lives on with him known around the world for his comedic art. Even so, he has his family to carry on his name. With such a broad – he had 11 children, 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren — you would think, statistically, at least one of his offspring has to make it on to the screen!
Let’s take a peek at the Chaplin clan!

Charlie has 15 grandchildren … rather than listing them all — we’ll let this be Oona’s time to shine!
We wish them all the best.
