WATCH: Trailer for ‘Downton Abbey’ Season 3

British broadcaster ITV has released the first official trailer for Downton Abbey‘s third season, which will make its bow stateside January 6, 2013 on Masterpiece Classic. The sneak peek is set to the choral strains of Lou Reed‘s “Perfect Day” and features glimpses of a few new faces, including Shirley MacLaine as Lady Grantham’s mother, Martha Levinson.

This season is set in the early 1920s, after the devastation of the Great War:
