Hungry to see more of British-born Sam Claflin? Your appetite will be satisfied with him being cast as Finnick Odair in the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel Catching Fire.

Finnick joins main characters Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) in the ring for the 75th annual Hunger Games. Lionsgate.com describes Finnick as, “charismatic and clever, he was a District 4 Hunger Games victor when he was fourteen.”

Claflin most recently starred in Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron. He recently finished filming The Quiet Ones opposite Jarred Harris. In 2012 he starred in BBC America’s 6-part dramatic series White Heat, a story about a group of seven London-based students from 1965 to the present day, as Jack the troubled rich kid.
