A brand-new Doctor Who Season 7 trailer has hit the web today (August 2), and it provides the most detailed look yet at the episodes leading up to the departures of companions Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill).
If these thrilling 90 seconds are any indication, Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner have made good on their promise to make this upcoming season “blockbuster” quality. There are Daleks, dinosaurs, glacial landscapes, horses, Weeping Angels, River Song, and, of course, the unmistakable bright lights of Times Square. And the last few moments of this trailer — which were teased in the Season 7 publicity image we posted earlier — gave us proper chills.
