Watch: An International Cast Chase Bin Laden In ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Trailer
Zero Dark Thirty
Katherine Bigelow, the director who gave us such cinematic delights as The Hurt Locker and Point Break, is releasing Zero Dark Thirty, a movie about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, in December. And what’s curious about this is that, for a film with such a directly American subject matter, it has a remarkably multi-cultural cast.
Curious meaning ‘interesting,’ by the way, not ‘morally dubious’ or anything like that.
There aren’t many recogniseable faces in this teaser trailer, which has just been released, apart from Jennifer Ehle (waving the flag for Team GB) and Jessica Chastain (Team USA), but you can hear the voice of the mighty Mark Strong, which is as useful a hallmark of the quality of actors who will no doubt spend the movie glowering at each other as you are likely to need.
Other representitives of the internatinal acting community in this film include Australia’s Joel Edgerton, Britain’s Scott Adkins and Venezuela’s Édgar Ramírez.
