The London 2012 Olympics came to a close tonight (August 12) with a three-hour ceremony that celebrated one of Britain’s greatest exports, its popular music. More than 80,000 in the audience and 10,000 athletes watched as some of the UK’s most famous recording artists put on a spectacular show, BBC NEWS reports.
