I tell you what, if you’ve been caning the Mumford and Sons album “Sigh No More,” and have sort of worn out all of its surprises, but don’t want the band to come back with startlingly fresh new material which takes them away from their emo hoedown roots, we have some good news for you.

The band have unveiled “I Will Wait,” the first song to be taken from their second album “Babel,” which is due out on September 24. It’s exactly what you would expect:

Whether you choose to read that comment as a damning slur or glowing praise depends entirely on your view of the band, of course.
