With all of the various booth handing out wearable swag, it’s certainly tough for exhibitors to stand out in the crowd at Comic-Con. But BBC America made a statement in standing above the crowd, distributing festive Dalek-shaped headgear that could be seen floating high atop the heads of attendees.
The Daleks are, of course, the Doctor’s earliest and deadliest foes on the series Doctor Who, and as crowds made their way from the BBCA booth wearing their Dalek hats, the ensuing stampede created the illusion of these armored creatures invading the convention floor.

Even Nerdist host Chris Hardwick, who’d been signing autographs at the BBC America booth prior to the giveaway, got in on the action:
