Left Off: The Doctor helped spread a bit of holiday cheer by bringing a family’s father back to them while fighting off humanoid trees and marginally escaping acid rain in the last Christmas special. And hurrah! The Doctor and the Ponds, reunited once again!

Next Up: The happy reunion won’t last for long. Whovians are preparing to say their tearful goodbyes to our beloved Ponds, as Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are expected to depart from the show mid-season. But the question is, how? Steven Moffat teased at a press conference in March:
