Watch: New ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer
Apologies if any of what I am about to say is a little rambly or incoherent, I’ve just watched this trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest addition to the Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises, starring three top notch British actors, and, well, everything’s gone a bit shaky.
Looks rather good, dunnit? I particularly like the way Michael Caine (as Alfred the butler) says “I’ve buried enough members… of the Wayne family,” like you would if you were emotional and not in a movie. That feels real, and it’s even odder that it should, bearing in mind the preposterousness going on immediately before and afterwards.
Plus it could be taken as a double-entendre, which proves the spirit of Benny Hill is alive and well, so everyone’s happy.
