Watch: Steven Moffat On Filming ‘Doctor Who’ In New York
The biggest revelation of the Doctor Who Convention, apart from Matt Smith’s astonishing facility to put overexcited children at their ease (seriously, if the acting thing ever loses its appeal, he has a glowing future ahead of him as a child-minder), was the news that the Doctor, Amy and Rory will be paying a visit to New York during the new series.
So, having been given a couple of minutes with Steven Moffat for a brief chat, the only thing to do was chase this story to the ground like a proper journalist would do. Move over Woodward and Bernstein, I’m going in!
And while we were chatting, having taken the reporter’s trilby off, it seemed a good time to discuss the imminent arrival of Jenna-Louise Coleman, and the role of the Doctor’s companions in the ever-evolving story:
