Hello! Can I introduce you to Simon Spurrier? Simon’s a crime novelist from the UK, and he’s been having a little trouble getting anyone to read his book, despite it being well received by the critics.
So, being an enterprising sort, and witheringly scornful of the state of things with regard to books and publishing right now, he decided to make a trailer for his novel, A Serpent Uncoiled.
But rather than film himself reading extracts, or dramatise some of the meatier moments, he elected to do this instead. It’s called falling on your sword, with style:
