The Staves performing at SXSW
The folk trio The Staves — composed of sisters Emily, Jessica, and Camilla Staveley-Taylor — often draw comparisons to Laura Marling with their woolen harmonies and elegant acoustic sound. They were among the UK bands who packed in audiences at this year’s South By Southwest, and Lindsay Davis, reporting for The Brit List, chatted with them in Austin.
