EXCLUSIVE: Michael Kiwanuka Performs Live on the Brit List
Michael Kiwanuka
No other British newcomer this year has arrived with as much fanfare as Michael Kiwanuka, the London-born singer-songwriter who won BBC’s highly competitive Sound of 2012 poll highlighting promising music newcomers. His earthy fusion of soul and folk has drawn comparisons to Bill Withers and Otis Redding, and you can see (and hear) for yourself right here. During an interview with The Brit List’s Asha Leo, Michael grabbed his acoustic guitar and dazzled us with performances of two songs from his debut album Home Again. Watch them below.
“Home Again”
“I’m Getting Ready”
