In this challenging drama, British actor Isaacs plays an American detective whose life divides into two parallel realities when he and his family are involved in a tragic car accident. In one reality, his wife survives; in the other, his son lives. Sounds uplifting, right? NBC, which has struggled with drama recently, has a lot riding on this complex series, but the appealing Isaacs — Harry Potter‘s Lucius Malfoy — has the talent to ground this heady newcomer.
