9. One for the Money

This film’s Brit cred is primarily behind-the-scenes: UK-based director Julie Ann Robinson, whose credits include the David Morrissey/David Tennant musical miniseries Viva Blackpool, helms this big screen adaptation of Janet Evanovich‘s novels about an attractive woman learning the bounty-hunter ropes. Katherine Heigl is the lovely lady in question, and Irishman Jason O’Mara co-stars as her high school ex who’s wanted for murder.
