1. Ringo Starr’s Ringo 2012 album

The former Beatle returns to the studio for his 17th solo effort; Dave Stewart of Eurythmics and Van Dyke Parks provide support on the album. Starr describes the album, titled Ringo 2012 as “me doing what I do here and now, and nobody’s more qualified to do that than I am!” In addition to renditions of earlier songs (“Wings” and “Step Lightly”), Ringo covers the Buddy Holly favorite “Think It Over” and the Lonnie Donegan hit “Rock Island Line.”

Wow, Ringo sounds great! Thanks for posting. Macca’s boy leaves a bit to be desired, and that’s being generous.
