Just days after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Miniseries/TV Movie, Luther star Idris Elba may need to make room on his shelf for another trophy. Or just buy a bigger shelf. The British actor is nominated for a NAACP Image award for Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special, the same category he won last year.
This year, Elba is up against Esai Morales (We Have Your Husband), Oscar nominees Laurence Fishburne (Thurgood) and Samuel L. Jackson (The Sunset Limited), and Oscar winner Louis Gossett, Jr. (The Least Among You).
The in-demand Elba spoke with The Brit List’s Asha Leo on Saturday, the day before he walked off with his shiny new Golden Globe. Watch the interview, as he reveals the one thing he misses most when he’s away from England:
Offer your congrats to Idris below!

Just watched the first episode of the second series—–BRILLIANT. Great news that there is going to be a third miniseries later in the year. Fantastic acting and story lines.
I am not positive the place you are getting your information, but good topic. I needs to spend a while finding out more or understanding more. Thanks for excellent information I was in search of this information for my mission.
Luv the show ! Looking forward to another season (hopefully more about Alice).
Does anyone know which song is being played in season 2, episode 4? It’s the scene where the serialkiller (one of the twins) is passing a bunch of cars in the rain and then he ends up slaughtering an entire “family”. I think the scene starts at 22 minutes and 28 seconds and it lasts for almost 2 minutes. That song is soooo creepy….in a good way
