If (for some unknown reason — possibly a worldwide video shortage) I were forced to choose just one, I think I’d go with Inspector Morse. John Thaw was so spectacular with Kevin Whately, and it was hard to beat all the filming in Oxford.

But I really can’t choose. So here are some more that are also my top number one favorite. :)

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (with Alec Guinness … I’m so nervous about the new one coming up because I’m afraid they’re going to mess it up … Alec Guinness is George Smiley to me!)

All Creatures Great and Small (with Christopher Timothy and Robert Hardy and Peter Davison)

North and South (with Richard Armitage and Daniela Denby-Ashe)

Inspector Lewis has been holding its own as a spinoff series! Absolutely love Kevin Whately and Laurence Fox in this.

Little Dorrit (with Matthew Macfadyen and Claire Foy)

I’ll stop there. :) Such a fun question. Thank you.
