All set for the midseason premiere of Doctor Who this Saturday (August 27) at 9/8c? Well, we have a treat for you. No, it’s not TARDIS burritos. But Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and lead writer/executive producer Steven Moffat recently made time out of their hectic schedules to answer questions put forth by BBC America’s Facebook fans. And we’ll be posting the clips each day this week.
Today, Matt Smith answers Patty Snow Ferris‘s question, “If you had to choose one of the previous companions to travel with, who would it be and why?” And his response is a touching nod to a very beloved — and deeply missed — TARDIS sidekick:
