Daniel Radcliffe in 'The Woman In Black'

Ladies, I think you’ll want to watch this. It’s the full-length trailer for Daniel Radcliffe’s first major movie outside of Harry Potter-land, and my goodness doesn’t he scrub up well?

As we’ve explained before, the film, The Woman In Black, is a period ghost story, adapted from British author Susan Hill‘s 1983 horror novel by Jane Goldman. And as you can see, appears to have much of the same creeping dread (and scary children) as The Shining, only set much further back in the past.

Daniel plays Arthur Kipps, a lawyer who has to travel to a deceased client’s remote house in order to settle their affairs. Naturally he gets no help from the clearly-rattled locals, and bunkers down in the spooky house, only to be plagued by brief visions of a woman in black.

Best of all, he appears to be wearing Matt Smith’s hair, and that’s always a good thing.
