WATCH: ‘Doctor Who’ Star Matt Smith Beatboxes on ‘Craig Ferguson’

Earlier this week, we saw the lovely Karen Gillan‘s appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and last night (July 29), it was Matt Smith‘s turn on the couch. As we know, Matt’s a massive fan of hip-hop – he has declared Nas‘s Illmatic one of his top three albums of all-time – and our man Craigy Ferg got him to show off his beatboxing skills. (Remember that clip of Matt, Karen, and Arthur Darvill beatboxing in an elevator? This was almost as cool.)

Also, Craig asked Matt about a Doctor Who film. “I think [it'll happen] one day,” Matt said. “These things take a long time. They’d probably cast Johnny Depp or something. I’ll probably be dead by then.”

Here’s Matt’s previous appearance on Ferguson from back in November:
