Royal Roundup: Marriage? No No, Not Yet, Says Prince Harry
Prince Harry
Now that Prince William is finally a married man, many royal watchers are hoping that Prince Harry will be next to tie the knot.
When the 26-year-old ginger prince visited with Chelsea pensioners during the annual Founder’s Day Parade on Thursday (June 9), one inquiring war veteran didn’t hold back when broaching the topic, The Daily Mail reports. “So when are you getting married then?” a curious William Titchmarsh asked Harry.
Not surprisingly, Harry was a good sport when chiming back in response. “Not for a long time. Who put you up to do that to me?!”
Well there you have it, folks. Harry isn’t looking to get hitched anytime soon. However, it was rumored that he wanted to put a ring on it after he and his on-and-off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy danced the night away at Wills and Kate‘s wedding reception. Harry and the South African-born attorney were spotted outside Davy’s London flat shortly thereafter, which further added to speculation that Davy might be giving royal life a second thought. Earlier this week, she was seemingly enjoying the single life in Ibiza.
In other royal-related news:
• Kate can do no wrong when it comes to fashion. When she and William stepped out at the 10th Absolute Return for Kids charity gala in London earlier this evening (June 9), the Duchess of Cambridge sparkled in a blush rose Jenny Packham gown, complete with Swarovski crystal accents. Absolutely stunning!
• To mark The Queen‘s Diamond Jubilee celebration in 2012, London’s Victoria & Albert Museum will display nearly 100 photos of Her Majesty taken by renowned English photographer/designer Sir Cecil Beaton. The collection will span her years as a “princess, monarch and mother.”
• Pippa Middleton sure loves her tennis. People reports that the “Rear of the Year” runner-up watched Andy Roddick volley against Kevin Anderson at the AEGON Championships in London on Thursday (June 9). And with her was former boyfriend George Percy, who joined the royal bridesmaid in Madrid a few weeks ago.
