Kings of Leon for James Bond Theme? Daniel Craig Wants ‘Em!
Kings of Leon's Nathan and Caleb Followill, Daniel Craig
The idea of turning down James Bond is beyond me, but Kings of Leon have: THREE times!
During a special Twitter chat with Vue Cinemas earlier this week, the Tennessee-bred alt-rockers shared that current Bond lead, Daniel Craig, has previously approached them about doing a 007 theme.
“Hmm Daniel Craig has asked me before,” drummer Nathan Followill revealed. “I have turned him down 3 times already but maybe.”
Maybe? Are you joking? C’mon guys! We understand why you might not want your songs showing up on Glee, but this is James Bond we’re talking about. And it’s not like Daniel Craig is Will Schuester.
Vocalist/guitarist Caleb Followill seemed a little more up for the task for Bond 23. “I’ve always wanted to work with strings though so maybe yeah, that’ll be a good excuse.”
What’s your favorite James Bond theme?
