WTF? Hugh Grant Nearly Replaced Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’

Hugh Grant

Remember our post on British replacements for Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men? Well, either we were extraordinarily prescient or CBS and Warner Bros. are stealing our ideas, man! (In any event, Anglophenia = WINNING.) Today, Deadline broke the story that English leading man Hugh Grant was this close to signing on to the highly-rated CBS sitcom before bailing last minute due to “creative differences.”

Grant was not on our initial list of candidates, but we think he’d make a fine foil for Jon Cryer. (And it’s not like his film career is ablaze at the moment.)
