Playing a genius is tough for any actor. Playing a genius written by Steven Moffat is even tougher. But Sherlock‘s Benedict Cumberbatch has never stepped wrong as a very modern-day version of the hyper-meticulous detective. And with a cocky swagger and a voice like molten chocolate, he made a “high-functioning sociopath” incredibly sexy.
