‘Gavin & Stacey’ Star Mathew Horne Has Baby Fever
Mathew Horne
He may not be a dad in real life, but Mathew Horne embraces his fatherly responsibilities in Horrid Henry: The Movie, Nick Moore‘s (Love Actually, Nanny McPhee) upcoming 3-D family comedy out this summer.
Despite the endless monkey business that ensues with his son in the film (played Theo Stevenson), the 32-year-old Gavin & Stacey actor recently told The Daily Star that he’d fancy having a family.
“It has really made me want to have children,” he said prior to joking that he’s “been trying to impregnate women ever since filming.” (Har har.)
Perhaps Horne has caught a bit of the baby bug since his mate James Corden and fiancée Julia Carey welcomed their son Max into the world this spring?
Horrid Henry: The Movie, which opens in the UK July 29, draws from the massively popular children’s book series of the same name. Other all-star Brits like comedienne Jo Brand, The Mighty Boosh‘s Noel Fielding, Parminder Nagra of Bend It Like Beckham and ER fame, and BAFTA-winning actress Rebecca Front also star.
