Matt Smith on the U.S. set of 'Doctor Who'
On Friday (April 1), we unveiled BBC America’s epic, 60-second trailer for Doctor Who Season 6, which premieres April 23. But there’s more. This weekend, at San Francisco’s WonderCon, the channel premiered a two-minute Inside Look at the upcoming season featuring interviews with Matt Smith (The Doctor), Karen Gillan (Amy Pond), Arthur Darvill (Rory), and Alex Kingston (River Song). These Q&As were conducted this past fall when the cast and crew ventured to Utah’s Monument Valley to shoot scenes for the season premiere, marking the very first time the British sci-fi show has filmed Stateside.
