WATCH: Cat Deeley Dons a Tiara, Remembers Charles & Di
Cat Deeley on 'Royally Mad'
OK, she’s not actually wearing the tiara while she’s remembering Charles and Diana. That might have been a touch over-the-top, no?
In her new two-part special, Royally Mad, Cat takes five lucky Americans on a whirlwind tour of royal London. In this deleted scene, exclusively on BBCAmerica.com, Ms. Deeley visits Garrard’s, the royal jewelry maker, and perches a sparkling tiara atop her bountiful golden locks. Every princess deserves a crown, right?
And Cat has given us exclusive access to her FlipCam video diaries, which she shot while filming Royally Mad. Here, Cat recalls Charles and Diana’s wedding back in 1981. “I was a little girl,” she says. “I just remember it being a joyful occasion.” She’s certain that William and Kate‘s wedding will be just as unforgettable.
Royally Mad premieres Tuesday, April 12 at 10/9c on BBC America.
