Susan Boyle Honored with Madame Tussauds Wax Statue
Susan Boyle at Madame Tussauds
Thanks to Madame Tussauds, the charm of Susan Boyle will now reach beyond her music.
On Tuesday, (April 19), the Scottish chart-topping singer took part in the unveiling of her waxed likeness at the new Madame Tussauds location in Blackpool, England, The Press Association reports. It was constructed in just four months and cost just under $245,000 (£150,000) to make.
“What can you say? They have done a very good job. It feels fantastic,” Boyle said of her waxwork. “It was such a great process to be involved in and it looks very realistic.”
An enthusiastic Boyle, who turned 50 earlier this month, went on to say that she’d love to see a statue of her Britain’s Got Talent mentor Simon Cowell standing next to hers. Well that would certainly make for a “Perfect Day” now wouldn’t it?
